Dadi is one of modern India's first female spiritual leaders, having joined the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University as a founding member in 1937, at the age of 21. Transcending established norms of religion, society and culture, she took universal spiritual truths, worked with them in the laboratory of her own life, and translated them into practical tools for improving the human condition.

With an unrelenting search for honesty and cleanliness in her relationship with God as the cornerstone of her life of service, Dadi Janki developed an inspiring vision of the unique potential of every human being. This has enabled her to become a highly effective spiritual entrepreneur.

Dadi Janki and other members of the Brahma Kumaris family are deeply involved in various aspects of Rights and Humanity’s work.
