Archbishop Desmond Tutu

His Grace Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, Nobel Laureate
Desmond Mpilo Tutu is a South African cleric and activist who rose to worldwide fame during the 1980s as an opponent of apartheid. Archbishop Tutu was the first black South African Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town, South Africa, and primate of the Church of the Province of Southern Africa. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984.

Archbishop Tutu is regularly involved in our International Conferences. In 2006, Archbishop Tutu designed a special edition plate and mug to help fund raise for Rights and Humanity. The prototype was auctioned at a Gala Dinner in Doha.
